Just in time for Christmas, on the 15th of December 2018 you can learn to Make a Decorative Coptic-Stitch Book:
If you don’t know what Coptic Stitch is, you should come to this workshop and find out! Or you could Google it…and then come to the workshop. This is an opportunity to learn a bookbinding technique that is centuries old, and to create a beautiful gift for a loved one for Christmas (this is not compulsory, of course: you can keep it for yourself if you like).
All equipment, materials, food, and drinks are provided.
Place: Street Baptist Church, Street, Somerset, BA16 0AN
Arrive: 9:30am (hot drinks and biscuits served before we start)
12:00 – let’s eat lunch (and dessert).
13:30 – finish off the bookbinding and leave to show off your work to all your friends, family, and social media followers.
To book your place, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know if you have any dietary requirements. There are only five places left!
Here are some photos I carefully plucked from Google Image Search of examples of Coptic Stitch notebooks. As you can see, you can get very creative with this technique! However, we’ll be keeping it simple – but still beautiful – for this beginners’ workshop.
